مفهوم ها:
money جزو آثار انتقادي مايكل جكسون است كه نمونه هاي اينچنيني بخصوص در آلبوم history فراوان ديده ميشود. در اين ترانه مايكل جكسون حرص مردم براي پول را به نقد ميكشاند و با توجه به اتهاماتي كه تا آن زمان به مايكل زده شده بود به آن وقايع چندان بي ربط هم نميتواند باشد.
استفاده از ضماير "من" و "تو"، بشريت امروز را از طمع پول در خطر ميبيند، كه حتي بر روابط اجتماعي مردم نيز اثر ميگذارد ، بسياري روابط و احترام ها بر پايه پول بنا ميشود و چيزي از ارزشهاي انساني برجاي نميماند:
